Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Duroscope is not responsible for deficiencies, contamination, damage, deterioration, improper identification, or other conditions affecting samples supplied by the client.

Sample handling, storage, retention, and disposal will be carried out in accordance with applicable procedures and the agreed scope of service.

6. Quotations and Fees

All quotations and proposals issued by Duroscope are subject to the terms, scope, validity period, and conditions specified in the relevant quotation or proposal.

Unless otherwise stated, prices may be subject to applicable taxes, transportation, additional testing, site requirements, sample collection, special handling, or other project-specific costs.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges and may require client approval.

7. Scheduling and Site Access

For on-site testing, inspection, scanning, monitoring, or assessment services, the client is responsible for providing reasonable access to the relevant site and ensuring that the required site conditions are available.

The client may also be responsible for:

  • Providing safe site access
  • Obtaining necessary permissions
  • Identifying testing locations
  • Providing relevant drawings or technical information
  • Coordinating access with site personnel
  • Informing Duroscope of known site hazards or restrictions

Delays caused by circumstances outside Duroscope’s reasonable control may affect scheduled service dates.

8. Reports and Test Results

Testing reports and certificates are issued based on the agreed testing scope and the results obtained from the applicable samples, locations, or materials.

Reports are intended for the client and the specific purpose for which the testing was commissioned.

No report, certificate, test result, or other document issued by Duroscope may be altered, reproduced, distributed, or used in a misleading manner without appropriate authorization.

9. Material Certification

Where material certification services are provided, certification is based on the testing, documentation, specifications, and information available to Duroscope at the time of assessment.

Certification does not constitute a guarantee of the future performance or condition of a material, product, structure, or project unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to the requested services.

The client must notify Duroscope of any known circumstances that may affect testing, inspection, sampling, site access, safety, or interpretation of results.

Clients are also responsible for ensuring that information supplied to Duroscope does not knowingly contain false, misleading, or incomplete information that could affect the requested service.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, designs, documents, trademarks, and other materials, is the property of Duroscope Testing Laboratory LLC or its respective licensors.
